I appreciate you reading this piece EEM.
As many know, the unfortunate events involving terror plots in the homeland during the last six months have been perpetrated by terrorists that have happened to be Muslim extremists. Recalling recent history –starting with the 9/11 attacks- we can also remember that all of those radicals that believed having the mission of killing the ‘infidels,’ were also Muslims; which of course, is very different than saying that all Muslims are terrorists. No Islamic-phobia or racism is such appreciation. Despite the clear differentiation, I guess that’s where the debate still gets a little hideous.

I truly believe that any remarks condemning the fundamentalism of the Jihadists will continue to be a perfect occasion for some to make an argument in defense of Islam. But since we are talking about two different issues and -despite any efforts- radical minds are unable to be rational; political correctness is exactly the last thing this country needs as it can make the difference between life and death for many Americans.

Thank you once more for reading and for your contribution.

So right, so right. The trend seems to be to create a total de-Islamisation of Islamic Jihadist terror, that is, treating each case as if it were an irrational or otherwise flawed individual bent on destruction of lives for mysterious reasons. In fact, from Fort Hood to Somali pirates to raided churches in Malaysia to the Christmas failed attack, it is a state of pandemic aggression from Jihadist supremacists to the rest of humankind. Yet, calling this Holy War spade a spade is deemed so politically incorrect, and purposefully presented as Islamophobia (an Islamist invention) or racism. A pleasure to read Aurelia.b

Thank you for your interest on this issue Johnny. I truly believe that right and left should be united in the U.S. in just one front against terrorism. We cannot continue divided on such delicate matter, Al Qaeda will get us through our weakest-link which is our legal system being put in a silver platter for them to come to the homeland and strike us right here in the U.S. Obama has to stop granting the same legal protection of U.S. citizens to these massive assassins.

So the terrorists still have a victory even if their suicidal goon fails in his primary mission, because now people are scared? Good point.

I found it interesting that this jackass didn’t just go to the bathroom and light himself up there where no one would have a chance to stop him. When you think about, the heads of Al Quaeda probably prefer it when a lone nut like this doesn’t actually blow anything up, because not only are people scared shitless, they lose trust in the government’s protection, and better for them the liberal wimps in charge right now will not feel the need to retaliate on a grand scale since “no one was really harmed”.

Valora en Bitacoras.com: Al Qaeda is testing the Obama administration from many fronts and eager to use any resources. We can see it by just analyzing their willingness to utilize a confused, on the verge of depression, 23-year-old kid, in an operati…..
